Late Pass... DJ SubWoof make beats

A classic Youtube clip from a bedroom producer that.. is..... err... uummm.... interesting! Up and coming producers. Don't do this to your self.

Peep This... Tape Deck Scratching

I have been watching this clip for a while and I can't determine wether or not it's real or fake. I'm leaning towards it being real. Just the amount of prep time this kid took to put this set together is respectable.

Happy Belated "Fuck The Earth Day"!

NSFW due to language.

Peep This... I can watch WHAT? ....WHERE?

For all you tech heads out there who have a ton of media on your PC, imagine how dope it would be if you could watch that media on your HDTV without all the cable connections. For about 300.00 bucks this can be a reality. All thanks to the MX-780HD Wireless HD Media Center by Mvix (http://www.mxixusa.com/).

This bad boy will stream a ton of file formats ( Xvid, BivX®, MPEG 1/2/4, WMV-9, ASF(WMV9), DAT, DVD(IFO, VOB), ISO, HD-level TP, TS, TRP, MP3, WMA, AAC, OGG, PCM, AC3, DTS decoding including down-mixing, DTS pass through, BMP, JPEG/JPG, PNG etc.) to your HDTV. Has USB 2.0 connectivity, Wi Fi capability, RCA ports, HDMI, Component, Composite aaaaaaaand a Digital Optical-Audio port. On top of that, it even has room for a optional hard drive inside the unit, so if you want to free up disk space on your PC you can store media directly on the unit. Did I mention this offers you internet radio also?!?

If you want to step up your home theater system and you have the extra coin. This is a unique way to do it and will most definitely set you aside from everyone else. I'm adding this to my wish list for Christmas.

Feeling Blu?

Alright. The hip hop heads that know me, know that I like to champion any artist that is elevating the art form. I did it with Common (back when he had Sense) on the "One Day It Will All Make Sense" album. I had to do it again when Common dropped "Like Water For Chocolate". I discovered The Roots during the "Illadelph Halflife" era but when "Things Fall Apart" dropped these cats could do no wrong. There were several artists who I was on a quest to expose people too. Mos Def, De La Soul (I still get clowned for speaking up on Pos when people ask me who my favorite emcee is), Talib Kweli, Monch, ATCQ, LA Symphony, Pharcyde etc... Then my man Shelltoe hit me off with Fantastic: Volume 2. The whole world had stop spinning while I listened to that album for the first time (We'll get to that later).

Now let's fast forward to the present tense and peep the newest addition to my favorites.
Blu

Blu & Exile - Soul Amazing

Blu & Exile - Blu Collar Workers

I had been hearing good things about this guy since late 2007 and I actually had an album that he was featured on by his producer Exile (Dude is nice. "Pearly Gates" on Mobb Deep's "Blood Money" is the only reason I gave that album a listen. So a complete album produced by Exile was a must buy when I peeped it in the used bin in late 2007) called "Dirty Science". His album "Below The Heavens" is a definite must have for any hip hop fan who misses when emcees didn't rely on the beat to carry the weight of a song. Peep...

Welcome...

I want to welcome everybody to my soapbox, my little piece of the Internet, my spot, my tilt, my crib, my.... you get the idea. For those of you who know me personally, you know I like to stay on top of whats current and especially if what is current has to do with any of my interests. For those of you who know me... but don't really know me...brace yourself. It might get a little rowdy here, but it's all good.

So anyway let's get to it. This blog was started because of an e-mail I received from my favorite aunt that listed her favorite sites on the web. At the end of the e-mail she asked that I do the same. Now, I loooooovvvvveee the Internet. There is so much to learn and see and the click of a mouse. You literally have the world at your fingertips. Being the net junkie that I am, there is no way that I would be able to encompass my favorite things about the net in a single e-mail. So here we are with the next best thing. Hope you enjoy!
